Station 11 became the central fire station in District 1 at that time of its construction. The Superintendent's Office was originally located on the first floor of this location. Today its first due area includes a multi-story facility for the elderly, a water treatment plant, and many residential properties. The station is dedicated to Keith A. Boudoin, a Jefferson Parish East Bank Consolidated Fire Department firefighter who died in the line of duty.
